Educational Studies
Educational Studies serves as a platform for groundbreaking research and theoretical exploration in the field of education. The journal features rigorously reviewed articles that address both practical and theoretical aspects of educational inquiry. Submissions should present original research that is methodologically robust, theoretically grounded, and relevant to a global readership. The journal seeks studies that contribute to improving educational practices within various sectors. Although it primarily focuses on the social sciences, we also welcome insights from other disciplines. Empirical research papers are especially encouraged.

AbstractFollowing natural catastrophes, insurers have many decisions to make regarding their future in a state. In this article, we examine the impact of insurance regulation on the insurer’s decision to continue to provide homeowner insurance products in the state. Using a dataset of form, rate, and rule filing submissions by insurers from 2008 to 2022, we empirically test whether insurers are more likely to engage with the regulator following a natural catastrophe.

AbstractThe lightweight cipher, SPECK 32/64, is designed to be a secure cipher that can be used in a resource-constrained environment. SPECK 32/64 involves a pair of rotation constant parameters (α,β). Different investigators, including the original designers, suggested different choices of (α,β) primarily keeping the implementation issues in mind. The objective of this study is to check whether these choices compromise the security of SPECK-like ciphers, namely SPECK 32/64 and SPECK 64/128.
