Genetic Literacy Project
The Genetic Literacy Project (GLP) is an organization focused on increasing public knowledge and conversations about genetics, biotechnology, evolution, and scientific understanding. Established by Jon Entine, a science writer and consultant who currently acts as its executive director, the GLP team creates articles that explore topics related to human genetics and issues in food and agriculture. This includes discussions on genetic engineering, the effects of crop protection chemicals, and the health of pollinators. Additionally, the GLP curates articles from a variety of published sources to provide a comprehensive view of these subjects.
