Horse & Hound

Horse & Hound holds the title of the UK's longest-running equestrian weekly magazine, having released its inaugural issue in 1884. This publication is a go-to source for horse industry updates, insights from equestrian events, veterinary care tips, and listings of horses for sale. The magazine has a strong focus on fox hunting, along with coverage of various equestrian sports, including eventing, dressage, show jumping, horse racing, showing, carriage driving, and endurance riding. Readers can find expert opinions from renowned riders and trainers, such as event rider William Fox-Pitt, celebrated eventing coach Captain Mark Phillips, prominent show jumper William Funnell, and Olympic dressage rider and instructor Carl Hester, among others. Currently, the magazine is led by Content Director Sarah Jenkins, who took over from its first female editor, Lucy Higginson, in July 2014.
