This year marks 52 years since Israel first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest. Since 1973, Israel has won the competition four times, in 1978, 1979, 1998 and 2018. Israel also holds the record for most participations and most wins in Eurovision without ever coming in last. The 2025 contest takes place in Basel, Switzerland from May 13-17, with Yuval Raphael, a survivor of the October 7, 2023 Nova music festival massacre, representing Israel.
