No Camels

NoCamels.com stands out as a premier news platform highlighting groundbreaking innovations emerging from Israel for a worldwide audience. Our focus is on the latest advancements in technology, medicine, design, and environmental solutions from Israeli startups and research. Israel is renowned for having the highest number of startups and research and development hubs per capita globally, and the NoCamels team travels throughout the country to showcase these remarkable inventions and the innovators behind them. Located at the Sammy Ofer School of Communications at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, NoCamels operates as a non-profit academic initiative supported by the Asper Foundation (more details about the Foundation can be found below). We bring together talented student journalists from IDC and partner universities worldwide, offering them professional training and guidance. At NoCamels, we emphasize the importance of highlighting innovative solutions rather than solely focusing on the challenges that often dominate the news. Each day, we receive messages from readers around the globe who have found cures, solutions, or inspiration through NoCamels.com. We have seen how fair and precise reporting on these exciting innovations can transcend borders, cultures, and even conflicts. This commitment drives us to uphold the highest standards of journalism. We aspire to motivate young journalists globally to create similar platforms that spotlight their own countries' innovations and approaches to tackling global challenges.
