The Journal de Mycologie Medicale / Journal of Medical Mycology (JMM) is an English-language publication that focuses on the study of mycology related to humans and animals. It specifically explores various aspects of mycoses, including clinical, diagnostic, epidemiological, immunological, medical, pathological, preventive, and therapeutic issues. In addition, the journal addresses fundamental topics related to morphology (using both electronic and photonic microscopy), physiology, biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, immunochemistry, genetics, taxonomy, and phylogeny of both pathogenic and opportunistic fungi as well as actinomycetes found in humans and animals. Furthermore, any research involving natural products with antifungal properties must include the chemical characterization and identification of the compounds responsible for their inhibitory effects.
