The Journal of Analytical Atomic Spectrometry is a peer-reviewed journal that features original research and review articles in the field of modern spectrometry. It addresses all aspects of the discipline, from fundamental theories to practical applications and analytical techniques. This journal is released on a monthly basis by the Royal Society of Chemistry, with May Copsey serving as the editor-in-chief. It succeeded the Annual Reports on Analytical Atomic Spectroscopy, which was published from 1971 to 1984, and has been in circulation since 1986. As of 2014, the journal boasts an impact factor of 3.466.

Introduction You are warmly invited to join us in Newcastle, UK, in September 2025 for the 5th International solar fuels (ISF) conference. The first meeting of this internationally renowned conference was held in Uppsala, Sweden in 2015 and since then the meetings have been a highlight for the global solar fuels community.
