KERA-FM (Dallas, TX)

KERA (90.1 FM) is a public radio station serving the North Texas region. Located in Dallas, its primary transmitter is in Cedar Hill, Texas, and it has additional translators for areas including Tyler (K261CW, 100.1 FM), Sherman/Denison (K257EV, 99.3 FM), and Wichita Falls (K202DR, 88.3 FM). Before 2009, KERA's programming was also available on the Irving Community Television Network, a public, educational, and government access cable TV channel, during times when the station was off the air.
