    CARLISLE, Pa. — A Cumberland County man has been charged with 24 offenses related to the sexual abuse of children after police say he recorded himself molesting a 3-year-old girl while she slept.     GORDONVILLE, Pa. — State Police are investigating the theft of five puppies from an Amish farm in Lancaster County. It occurred sometime between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Tuesday on the 3500 block of Scenic Road in Leacock Township, authorities said. The victim reported that an unknown suspect entered a barn and shop on his property and stole five Labradoodle puppies and a black box home phone, according to police. The puppies were about nine weeks old, the victim reported.

    HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Capital Police Department on Wednesday officially introduced its newest member, K9 Officer Leo. The 1-year-old, yellow and white Labrador Retriever passed his training and certification tests and will join the police department's Explosives Detection Unit, along with his human partner, Cpl.     LANCASTER, Pa. — A New Jersey woman charged with scamming several local hospitals out of more than $600,000 in services over a two-year span had her preliminary hearing postponed, court records show.
