Teen who brought gun to Kenosha school sentenced

A Kenosha teen was sentenced Thursday to a year in detention for bringing a gun to Indian Trail High School and Academy in December. Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge Chad Kerkman ordered the 16-year-old boy, who was a student at Indian Trail, to be placed in the Fond du Lac County Secure Detention Facility. The teen pleaded guilty to felony charges of terroristic threats and possession of a firearm on school grounds.

Motorcycle rider suffers serious injuries in crash in central Minnesota

(Holdingford, MN)--A crash in central Minnesota has injured a motorcycle rider. According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, the crash took place north of Holdingford in Stearns County over the weekend. A motorcycle driven by Jason Klein, 47, of Holdingford, was traveling southbound on County Road 9 and negotiating a curve when it lost control and went into the ditch. Officials say he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
