It first debuted as an annual publication in 1994 and transitioned to a quarterly format in 1999. This was the second magazine introduced by Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, primarily available on newsstands. In November 2014, the magazine was licensed to Meredith Corporation for a decade. By 2018, it shifted to an online-only format.
