Consumer Reports

Consumer Reports is a monthly publication in the United States that has been in circulation since 1936. It is produced by a separate entity that was established in 2012. The magazine provides evaluations and comparisons of various consumer goods and services, relying on data collected from its own testing lab and research surveys. Notably, Consumer Reports does not accept any advertisements and purchases all the items it reviews. As a non-profit organization, it operates without shareholders. In addition to product reviews, the magazine also offers cleaning tips and general purchasing advice. Currently, it boasts around 7.3 million subscribers and has an annual budget of approximately $21 million dedicated to testing.
