    A DRUG dealer tried to hide a stash of almost 50 grams of cocaine under the seat of a police car after he was arrested. Prosecutor Alycia Carpanini told Swansea Crown Court that police received intelligence and stopped a Seat Leon in the St Clears area on February 1. Shaun Clawson was a passenger in the car. Officers seized a phone from on the passenger seat, and a cling film wrap and a spoon containing traces of white powder were also recovered from the passenger footwell.

    A decision on setting Pembrokeshire’s budget, with an expected council tax rise of nearly 10 per cent, has been put on hold for two weeks, on the eve of the county receiving a better financial settlement from Welsh Government.     A free food service, that has stopped thousands of tonnes of food being wasted in Pembrokeshire, has reopened after a complete revamp. Fishguard Community Pantry, the first of its kind in Wales, has been closed for around two weeks while the facility has undergone an overhaul. The old pantry, which had been damaged by a suspected car crashing into it, has been removed and replaced with a brand new more accessible shed and kitted out with a new fridge, flooring and wipe clean walls.
