New Zealand Listener
The New Zealand Listener is a weekly magazine that focuses on the political, cultural, and literary aspects of life in New Zealand. It explores a range of subjects, such as current news, politics, social matters, health, technology, arts, food, culture, and entertainment. In April 2020, The Listener was shut down by Bauer Media Group due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in New Zealand. Later, in June 2020, Mercury Capital took over the magazine when it acquired Bauer Media's previous assets in Australia and New Zealand, which were then renamed Are Media.

To plant a garden for all seasons requires some thought and planning. Alternatively, a trip to the garden centre every month and selecting some things that are flowering will in time develop a year-round garden.

The first reviews for Lorde’s highly anticipated new album Virgin are in, with fans and critics alike commending the singer’s raw and emotive songwriting as a return to form. But while the content of the album struck a chord, some listeners were left wanting more, owing to the album’s short runtime, which clocks in at just 34 minutes. Released at midnight June 27 (NZT), Virgin was described by Lorde as being about “transparency‚" signalled on the album cover by an X-Ray of the singer’s pelvis.
