There’s been action aplenty at the Lake Macquarie Croquet Centre over the past month. The state-of-the-art Glendale complex recently hosted a tournament, featuring three teams from Toronto – Wagtails, Dolphins and Willows – as well as line-ups from Maitland, Nelson Bay, Newcastle and EDSACC (Bateau Bay). Each match, which is timed, comprised two players participating in singles and a pair of doubles in a best-of-three series.
