In November 2024, Fujifilm announced the development of the GFX ETERNA. Fujifilm’s first cinema camera. It’s no surprise that they are entering the cinema camera space, given their significant presence in broadcast and cinema lenses, as well as their photography lineup. The GFX ETERNA will feature the large format GFX 102MP CMOS II HS sensor, which is approximately 1.7 times larger than a 35mm full-frame sensor, combined with the X-Processor 5 high-speed image processing engine.
