Niagara Falls Review
The Niagara Falls Review started its journey in 1873, thanks to founders William Henry Anger and James Edwin Anger, who officially launched the paper in 1879. Since the 1930s, it has been published every day, serving as the main news outlet for Niagara Falls and the surrounding areas, including Fort Erie and Niagara-on-the-Lake. For a long time, the paper was owned by Roy Thomson and played a significant role in the Thomson media group.

But before all that, he finds himself in a room with other artists in Orillia, fighting for a spot at this year’s Mariposa Folk Festival.

Who makes millions manufacturing weapons and dreads the prospect of peace. Who uses 10 words when one will suffice. If he were around today, he’d have a U.S. cabinet position. He is the undisputed star of “Major Barbara,” despite the play being named after his daughter.

Are sign bans at municipal council meetings unconstitutional? The City of Niagara Falls may find out after it decided to kick a small group of sign-toting women out of a public meeting this past week and called in Niagara Regional Police to do the job. The move by the city has come to the attention of the Canadian Constitution Foundation (CCF), an organization that last year forced Niagara Region to back down on a procedural bylaw provision that banned signage in the audience at council meetings.
