The Ottawa Sun is a daily tabloid newspaper based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is published by Sun Media. Originally launched in the early 1980s under the name Ottawa Sunday Herald, it was taken over by Toronto Sun Publishing Corporation in 1988. In April 2015, Postmedia acquired the Sun Media newspapers.
