For the past several months my friends Jeff Rice, Larry Weishuhn and I had looked forward to our annual trip to Lake Texoma to catch topwater stripers with Bill and Chris Carey’s Striper Express guide service. The trip is always great fun with lots of fishing action. It gives us the opportunity to film a show for our weekly “A Sportsman’s Life” and also provides fodder for articles for Larry and I.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in the shooting that occurred May 5 in Frankston. Micheal Stephens, 56, was arrested Monday, May 19, on a warrant charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked into the Anderson County Jail without incident, according to Sheriff Rudy Flores, after the arrest, which was made by Cpt. A. Pearson and Deputy B. Hay.
