Along with his role as head coach at Pitt, Capel will serve on the USA Basketball Junior National Team Committee, according to a press release from the University. The USA Basketball Men’s U19 Junior Team Training Camp will take place on June 14 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Once the roster is determined, 12 players will travel to compete in the U19 Men’s World Cup tournament in Switzerland.
