    Pitt basketball welcomed in four transfers this offseason, adding Nojus Indrusaitis, Dishon Jackson, Barry Dunning Jr., and Damarco Minor. Now that the players are beginning to arrive in campus for summer workouts, the Panthers’ social media team has been introducing its new players through social media. The latest player has been Indrusaitis. In a video posted to Pitt’s twitter account, a staffer interviewed Indrusaitis, asking him about his personal interests and more.

    Duquesne’s basketball staff has been hard at work all spring, recruiting next year’s team and beyond. This week, Dru Joyce III’s staff decided to extend a pair of offers to some talented high-school basketball players. First, the Dukes offered 6-foot-3 combo guard Toure Nour Gassim, a three-star prospect. He plays for The Principia School in St. Louis, Missouri and is a member of the class of 2027. Then, the Dukes offered 2027 prospect Kingston Money.

    Another game has been added to the Duquesne basketball schedule for this upcoming season. According to a report by B.J. Rains, the Dukes will travel to Boise, Idaho to take on Boise State this season in a non-conference game. The Dukes and the Broncos did not face off against each other last season, but were both in the field for the Cayman Islands Classic early in the season. Check out the report from Rains here.

    When the NBA Finals tips off on Thursday night, one of Pittsburgh’s own will be taking part in the festivities. TJ McConnell, who plays guard for the Indiana Pacers, will be making his NBA Finals debut against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Thursday night’s game will tip off at 8:30 p.m. est. in Oklahoma City. McConnell is averaging 9.1 points per game and 4.4 assists per game this year for the Pacers in 17.9 minutes per contest. He has played in 79 games.
