Kingz is a sharpshooting, 6 foot 5 wing who played his first few years of college at levels below Division I. In 2024-25, he started all 31 games for the Beavers, averaging 11.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and shooting 44.6% from three on 4.2 attempts per game.

This week’s survey shows that Syracuse fans are losing interest in college sports as a result of NIL and the portal. I wonder what these results would be if the Orange basketball teams had been top-25 caliber like football, but it’s clear that schools should be taking note of the fan response.

Emma Ward was the only Syracuse women’s player among the 25 nominees. Ward leads the Orange in points (68 heading into last night’s game vs Boston College) and is one of only two Syracuse women’s players with more than 150 goals and 160 assists in their career. BC led the way with five nominees.

On Tuesday, Talia Goodman reported that the Orange have added transfer Oyindamola Akinbolawa from Auburn. BREAKING: Auburn transfer Oyindamola Akinbolawa has committed to Syracuse, sources told @On3sports. The 6-5 center averaged 3.4 ppg and 3.6 rpg this season.
