QSaltLake is a monthly magazine that focuses on news and entertainment for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. It is published by Gay Salt Lake Inc. in Salt Lake City and serves as the main publication for the organization. In addition to the magazine, the corporation also oversees related publications, websites, and a nonprofit group. The magazine features a mix of local, national, and international news, a dedicated opinion section, arts and entertainment coverage, a bar guide, and classified ads. In 2007, QSaltLake relocated to new offices in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake City and launched a news-portal website.

She was a nurse; she spoke three languages; and she was a foster mom to over 90 children, many of whom were medically fragile.
