Having previously given a win to a dish that was third-best, the judges kept a chef who made a dish they could not eat, all because pouring water on dry ice created a cloud and they were like ooh smoke ooh!For a Mission: Impossible-sponsored challenge, the Top Chef: Destination Canada chefs were asked to add a stunt to their dishes. What did that mean? No one knew! But at least they got to do an actual stunt.

    Five seasons ago, I wondered if Survivor 43 was so boring because the players froze in the face of unpredictable new-era twists. And now Survivor 48 is so boring that it spent an entire 90-minute episode telling us why it’s so boring. Which was, alas, boring. During Tribal Council, Jeff Probst said Shauhin explained “why this game’s so complicated,” and really was the entire episode.
