KBOI-TV is a CBS-affiliated television station serving Idaho's Treasure Valley, with its license based in Boise. It transmits a high-definition digital signal on VHF channel 9, appearing as virtual channel 2.1 through PSIP. The station’s transmitter is located at the summit of the Bogus Basin ski area in Boise County. Viewers can also watch KBOI on Cable One channel 8 or in high definition on digital channel 460. The station is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group and operates alongside its sister station, the low-powered CW affiliate KYUU-LD, both of which share studios located on North 16th Street in downtown Boise.
