Rolling Stone Australia

Rolling Stone Australia

Rolling Stone Australia is the local edition of the iconic Rolling Stone magazine from the U.S., focusing on music, politics, and popular culture. It was first introduced in 1970 as a part of Revolution magazine, which was created by Phillip Frazer, a student at Monash University. In 1972, Frazer launched it as a standalone magazine, making it the longest-running international version of Rolling Stone until it ceased print publication in January 2018. In February 2019, Rolling Stone Australia made a comeback as a digital platform, thanks to a partnership with The Brag Media and an exclusive licensing agreement with Penske Media Corporation, the owner of Rolling Stone.
