The Raiders need all the productive players they can get as they try to rebuild. They need veteran wide receivers. Meyers is entering the final year of his contract and he reportedly has interest in signing a contract extension to stay with the Silver and Black in 2026 and beyond. Las Vegas has plenty of salary-cap room to give Meyers a new deal.

Few woke up Wednesday morning thinking a disgruntled Kolton Miller could affect what the Las Vegas Raiders do early in next week’s NFL draft. Yet, potentially, that could be the case. It was reported that Miller, the Raiders’ longtime standout left tackle, is staying away from voluntary offseason workouts because he wats a new contract. Miller, who turns 30 in October, is entering the final year of his contract.

The Bills and Cook are reportedly at odds because they are having trouble getting a contract done. Cook will likely remain with the Bills, but if thing shit a head, a trade could be made. If so, the Las Vegas Raiders have been speculated as a potential fit. The Raiders, of course, badly need a running back.

And if it’s Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, it seems many Raiders fans would be fine with the idea. We recently asked our community members if they would be pleased if the Raiders draft Milroe. In a poll with nearly 500 votes cast, 57 percent of the voters would be excited if the Raiders select Milroe, while 43 percent don’t think he’s the answer.

Most of the mock draft and expert speculation has focused on the Raiders taking an offensive playmaker. Most of the recent mock-draft dot connecting for the Raiders has been centered on two players — Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty and Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan.
