White, one of the team’s biggest fan favorites was also the very first player to be drafted by head coach Sean McDermott. As such, his departure was all bitter, no sweet. When the team broke the news to White in March of last year, general manager Brandon Beane designated Tre’Davious White as a post-June 1 release.

White’s return follows a season away where he played for the Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens. Tre’ White became the first player drafted by then-first-year head coach Sean McDermott, who after making a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs, selected White at 27th overall.
