The prized 6-foot-6 senior left-hander navigated the second inning perfectly unscathed despite the bases loaded and no outs — not to mention the rows of scouts and fans crowding around home plate evaluating his every pitch.

These four-year starters have garnered at least one state appearance with the Bullets.     The Fighting Illini are headed to the United Center. Illinois and Alabama men's basketball have finalized a game at the home of the Chicago Bulls for Wednesday, Nov. 19. This is the return game from last season's 100-87 victory by the Crimson Tide in Birmingham. These two programs were NCAA Tournament teams this past March with Alabama making the Elite Eight, while Illinois advanced to the second round.
