Bronson High School's softball team won the Division 3 District 81 championship. Junior pitcher Ashlynn Harris threw a no-hitter in the first game and allowed only two hits in the second, totaling 22 strikeouts for the day. Strong offensive performances led to Bronson scoring a combined 22 runs in the two games. Bronson advances to the regional semifinal against Laingsburg. BRONSON – For the Bronson Vikings softball program, pitching has been a huge key to their success all season long.

Bristol will continue her academic and softball careers with Goshen College once her senior season of softball is done with Constantine. The Falcons will be in the district tournament on Saturday. When it comes to adversity, Bristol has already seen some ups and downs at a young age.

MENDON — The 40th annual U.A.W. St. Joseph County All-Star track and field meet was held in Mendon on Tuesday evening. Each of the events was completed as scheduled. This annual event, which rotates around the county for hosts each year, showcased the best track and field athletes. Sturgis will be the host school next year. Team scores are not kept at the event. However, each individual is awarded points based on their finishing spots in their respective events.
