The City of Sturgis announced last week work is set to begin on water main and sanitary sewer construction as of June 2. The work, costing $636,803.70, is being done by Parrish Excavating of Quincy.

STURGIS - Dozens of vintage and custom vehicles lined the streets of downtown Sturgis Friday for the annual Spring Car Cruise-In & Eats celebration. North Street in the downtown district was closed off in the evening for vendors, food trucks and acoustic music entertainment. The festivities were held under a cloudless blue sky, delighting participants and visitors alike.

Heartland Recreational Vehicles LLC on April 21 filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) document with the state, announcing the pending closure in approximately 60 days.
