    STRATFORD - Nearly 100 firefighters rallied at Town Hall on Friday to support two colleagues who were fired after spending more than two years on injury leave. Firefighters William Hertzog and Scot Sanford were terminated a week ago when they were unable to provide return-to-work dates.

    MILFORD - The music is back on at Stonebridge Restaurant. Two weeks after the Planning and Zoning Board voted 6-1 to approve a special permit for live outdoor music at the downtown eatery, bands and DJs have flocked to the restaurant's patio. But the wet and gloomy weather hasn't done much for business, owner Phil Conine said. "We are going to be more than reasonable with our neighbors," Conine said Thursday.
