The Daily Pennsylvanian
The Daily Pennsylvanian, often referred to as The DP, serves as the independent daily newspaper for students at the University of Pennsylvania. It is published on weekdays during the academic year by a dedicated team of over 250 student staff members. In the summer, a smaller group produces a weekly edition known as The Summer Pennsylvanian. The DP also has a weekly arts and entertainment magazine called 34th Street Magazine, along with a publication for parents and alumni titled The Weekly Pennsylvanian. Additionally, The DP manages three main websites—thedp.com, 34st.com, and underthebutton.com—alongside various blogs focused on opinions, news, and sports.
