The Battalion
The Battalion, commonly known as The Batt, is the official student newspaper for Texas A&M University. It began in 1893 as a monthly publication and has grown to be a daily newspaper. Before The Battalion, the first newspaper at Texas A&M was the Texas Collegian, which started in 1878. This paper underwent a name change to the College Journal from 1889 to 1893 before becoming The Battalion.

Despite the blustering winds, the Texas A&M men’s golf team finished fifth out of 15 teams at the Southern Highlands collegiate tournament. In a highly anticipated showdown between the top two teams in collegiate women’s tennis, the No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies faced off against the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs in the ITA Indoor Championship Finals.
