The Dispatch (Lexington, NC)
The Dispatch started its journey in 1902, taking over from the weekly Davidson Dispatch, which was established in 1882 by T.B. Eldridge. In 1919, the paper transitioned to semi-weekly releases and later moved to a six-day-a-week format on September 6, 1948. However, on September 1, 2008, the publication dropped its Monday edition and now comes out five days a week.
