You are perhaps under no illusion that Vogue Italia is a shadow of its former self. Here at theFashionSpot, we call out the magazine on a frequent basis, having fallen into a complete love/hate relationship with the Condé Nast-owned glossy that celebrated its monumental 60th anniversary last year. Covers lately with Damiano David, Miriam Leone, Ariana Grande, Loli Bahia, and Nicki Minaj have fallen flat.

Pitti Uomo has been underway since June 17. As per usual, the Florence-based showcase got us hyped and in the mood for the festivities ahead with the Spring 2026 season of Menswear Milan Fashion Week. Set to run June 20-24, the 4-day Menswear Milan Fashion Week Spring 2026 schedule is guaranteed to feel somewhat different from previous seasons. As editor-in-chief of British Harper’s Bazaar, Lydia Slater continues to keep the magazine planted firmly on our radar here at theFashionSpot. Slater, who has served as the title’s figurehead since 2020, has welcomed the likes of Rosamund Pike, Florence Pugh, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Lily-Rose Depp as cover stars throughout 2025 alone. Up next on the cover of British Harper’s Bazaar is Pamela Anderson.

Perhaps it goes without saying that here at theFashionSpot, we’re huge stans of ELLE France. After all, we’ve rode hard for the French fashion weekly on the regular. Can you blame us? The magazine (helmed by Véronique Philipponnat) outshines its competition frequently. Throughout 2025, covers starring the likes of Anja Rubik, Demi Moore, Laetitia Casta, Angèle, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Eva Mendes, and Estelle Lefébure have captivated us to no end. The publication also does summer like no other.

Change is in the air at Gucci. Subsequent to Sabato De Sarno making a not-so-unexpected exit as creative director back in February, Demna is now installed as the design force behind the Italian fashion house, having left his post at Balenciaga. As the Kering-owned label gears up for Demna’s first official outing, Gucci has dropped an advertising campaign to celebrate the historic GG monogram print. The powers that be at Gucci HQ called upon Emily Ratajkowski for the occasion.
