The Lawton Constitution

The Lawton Constitution is a daily newspaper based in Lawton, Oklahoma, that has been in circulation since 1904. John Shepler took ownership of the newspaper in 1910, and it stayed within the Shepler family for several generations. On March 1, 2012, the paper was sold by Shepler's great-grandsons, Don and Steve Bentley. The new owners are Bill and Brad Burgess, who are brothers and work as lawyers and businesspeople in Lawton.
