LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - A 9-year-old girl who was injured in a shooting on Gore Boulevard last Sunday is in recovery. 9-year-old Kie’Ari Scott was shot in the back of the head during the incident. Her mother initially said that while she was in recovery, the situation put a damper on Kie’Ari’s spirit just ahead of her tenth birthday. However, that didn’t last long as Kie says the Lawton community quickly rallied around the family after she made a call for support on social media.

ARCHER CITY, Texas (KSWO) - A former North Texas pastor has been arrested and charged with Child Grooming following an investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Texas Rangers. DPS officials say Rangers were called in to assist the Holliday Police Department on March 18. The investigation concerned an allegation of a sexual relationship between Roach and the victim, a child under 18 years of age. Roach has been booked into Archer County Jail. The investigation is still ongoing.
