The Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance

The Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance (QREF) is dedicated to publishing high-caliber research articles that delve into economics, financial economics, and finance. The topics can range from theoretical to empirical and policy-focused. We prioritize quality, originality, well-structured arguments, compelling evidence, insightful analysis, and clear writing. Each year, we release at least one Special Issue, which features a specific theme and is curated by guest editors, showcasing work from renowned authors. Additionally, most issues include three to four "Focus" sections centered around a common theme. These sections may have guest editors and often feature papers presented at various regional, national, or international conferences, allowing for timely publication. QREF is affiliated with the Midwest Economic Association, and our editors are committed to supporting emerging authors in their work.
