The Wire (India)
The Wire is an online news platform run by the Foundation for Independent Journalism (FIJ), a non-profit organization based in India. Established in 2015, it was co-founded by editors Siddharth Varadarajan, Sidharth Bhatia, and MK Venu, who were also the initial financial backers of the site. In addition to its founders, The Wire has received support from the Independent and Public Spirited Media Foundation (IPSMF), and several articles on the site have been contributed voluntarily.
