Mint is the second largest business newspaper in India, produced by HT Media Ltd, a media organization based in Delhi that also publishes the Hindustan Times. The newspaper primarily focuses on business executives and policy makers as its target audience. Notably, Mint was the first in India to adopt the Berliner format for its publication. It features editorial content from the "WSJ" due to a content-sharing agreement with Newscorp, the parent company of the Wall Street Journal. The current Editor of Mint is Sukumar Ranganathan.

    New Delhi: The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has ordered the processing of late tax returns and their refunds in cases where taxpayers have filed a request for condoning delays and reported their income by the end of March 2024. CBDT said in an order that returns of income filed under section 119 of the Income Tax Act under which delays are condoned, could not be processed within the statutory deadline due to a technical reason and hence refunds were not granted.
