Oscar Piastri became the first repeat winner (and, er, fourth pole-to-flag victor in a row in what was billed as the closest, most unpredictable F1 season in yonks), by dominating the Bahrain Grand Prix, closing to within three points of Lando Norris. Ergo, the Aussie is now the early favorite for the 2025 title. Yup, this is the ridiculously early conclusion we’ve reached based on four whole races of evidence.

Not everything needs to be ported over from the 1980s, but Mercedes has happily revived one bit we don’t mind seeing: the colors and style of the classic W460-series Geländewagen brushed over the bones of the new G-Class. Yep, it must be, because the annual Easter Jeep Safari kicks off again tomorrow with Jeep owners and fans making the pilgrimage to Moab, Utah, to pay their respects to the gods of off-roading. Every year, Jeep itself brings along a load of concept cars to show off its range of cars and aftermarket bits, and 2025 is no different. In fact, there are no fewer than seven concepts this year and Jeep has gone all-in on the retro.

Williams driver Carlos Sainz looks set to be fined for the second week running after dropping an (undeniably amusing) expletive in an FIA press conference in the build-up to Sunday’s Bahrain Grand Prix. Last weekend, the Spaniard was fined €10,000 (P647,440) for missing the start of the pre-race national anthem in Japan, having had a stomach bug that caused an unplanned pit stop… in the toilet.
