    Viking’s next new Nile River ship, the Viking Thoth, floated out this week at the Massara shipyard in Cairo. The float out marks a major construction milestone and the first time the ship has touched water. The float out also signifies the vessel’s transition into its final construction phase. Set to debut in October of this year, Viking Thoth will be the cruise line’s eighth Nile River vessel. It will sail the 12-day Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary.
