The station operates from a facility that it shares with its sister stations, WBAL (1090 AM) and WBAL-TV (channel 11), situated on Television Hill in the Woodberry area of Baltimore, close to the transmission tower they all share. Notably, WIYY and WBAL are the only two radio stations under the ownership of the Hearst Corporation.
