The identities of two people who were killed during a shooting at Florida State University were revealed on Friday. Tiru Chabba, 45, was identified by the Strom Law Firm in Greenville, South Carolina. The second victim was identified as Robert Morales. The law firm said Chabba was on the FSU campus Thursday as an employee of a campus vendor, when, according to authorities, FSU student Phoenix Ikner, 20, opened fire shortly before noon, killing him and one other and wounding six.

Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen says Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was wrongly deported, told him he has been moved from the notorious Salvadoran prison known as CECOT to a detention center with better conditions. Van Hollen says the Salvadoran man told him in a meeting Thursday that he had shared a cell with 25 prisoners and was fearful of many of them. The senator who visited El Salvador told reporters the case is more than just about Abrego Garcia.

The Baltimore City Council is intensifying its scrutiny of Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) following allegations of falsified safety reports that cast doubt on the integrity of the company’s pipeline safety work across the city.
