WNYW, also known as channel 5, serves as the main television station for the Fox Broadcasting Company in New York City. It is owned by the Fox Television Stations, a part of 21st Century Fox, and operates alongside WWOR-TV (channel 9), the flagship station for MyNetworkTV, located in Secaucus, New Jersey. Both stations share studio space at the Fox Television Center in Manhattan's Yorkville neighborhood, and their broadcast signal is transmitted from the top of the Empire State Building.
