    The 2025 Key Biscayne Film Festival was the perfect example of how Key Biscayne does things right. The films were terrific – beautiful and thought provoking - many with a Key Biscayne connection. The panel discussions were interesting and informative. The receptions provided an opportunity for movie goers to share thoughts about the films, and Paradise Park is a most magnificent venue. We urge everyone to attend next year.

    First, I'd like to thank my co-workers. The anchors, reporters and production staff, without whom, I couldn't have come into your homes each night. That also goes for the management here at 44News. Our news director Warren Stewart saw fit to take this old war horse out of dry dock 3 years ago, and put me to work doing both news and sports here at WEVV. I'd also like to thank the area high school and college players, as well as coaches, who have made my job infinitely  fun and exciting.

    EVANSVILLE, IN (WEVV)– In their first game wearing the Purple Aces uniform, Chuck Bailey III and Tanner Cuff led the way for the University of Evansville men’s basketball team in Saturday’s 76-66 win over Wabash College at the Ford Center. Bailey connected on eight of his 11 field goal tries and finished with a team-best 16 points. Cuff was 5-for-9 from the field and 2-of-4 from long range on his way to 14 points. Kenny Strawbridge Jr. also reached double figures with 10 points.

If it hasn’t been pointed out yet, this is a rematch of the first Monday Night Football game ever (albeit Preseason). Terry Bradshaw faced off against former Steeler Dick Shiner in the Three Rivers Stadium football opener.
