HONESDALE, WAYNE CO. (WOLF) — Parts of Honesdale in Wayne County dealt with flash flooding Tuesday evening, which resulted in certain areas to be closed to traffic. Some of the affected areas included the intersection of 4th and Main Street, Terrace and Vine Streets, and Erie Street where a creek has flooded the roadway. Drivers have been asked to find alternate routes this evening. The 5th Street walking bridge is also experiencing some water runoff.

SULLIVAN TOWNSHIP, TIOGA CO. (WOLF) — A man and a juvenile are dead after a crash in Tioga County Tuesday afternoon. Pennsylvania State Police say a Towanda Area School District vehicle driven by Ronald Wickwire, 66, was headed east on Route 6. PSP said Wickwire entered into the westbound lane for an unknown reason, resulting in a crash with a commercial vehicle. PSP said the crash happened on Route 6 west of its intersection with Bailey Road in Sullivan Township.

LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP, LYCOMING COUNTY (WOLF) — One person is dead and another is facing criminal homicide charges after Pennsylvania State Police were called to a hotel for a welfare check. Troopers responded around 10:00 Sunday morning to the Liberty Lodge on East Third Street in Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County. State Police said an altercation between two hotel residents led to a fatal stabbing. The victim, Shannon Bowes, 52, of Pennsylvania died before first responders arrived.

(WOLF) — A military bomb squad is in the process of removing what's described as a massive amount of military ordinances that were discovered in a home on Bennett Street in Luzerne Borough Friday. Officials from McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey arrived at the home that same evening to remove the ordinances. The ordinances were left behind by the owner of the property who passed away last week.
