KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Kalamazoo Public Safety says that multiple people were injured in two separate shootings Saturday night into Sunday morning in Kalamazoo. Police responded to the first report of shots fired, where witnesses told police they heard around 8 to 20 gunshots at a strip mall in the 2900 Block of Gull Road at 11:58 p.m. on Saturday. When officers arrived, they found evidence of a large gathering whereguns were fired in the parking lot.

(WOOD) — One person was taken to the hospital and another was arrested following a shooting in Oshtemo Township Saturday morning, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at 1323 Mount Royal Dr. at 10:46 a.m.When deputies arrived they said that a spent shell casing was found at the scene. The sheriff’s department said a victim was transported to Bronson Hospital with a gunshot wound and is in stable condition.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A garage was destroyed in a fire east of Gull Lake Saturday, firefighters said. The Ross-Augusta Fire Department, assisted by three other departments, responded just before noon to a report of a fire at a home on N. 45th Street north of East C Avenue in Ross Township. In a Facebook post, Ross-Augusta FD said when crews arrived, they found a garage fully involved and fire beginning to spread an attached house.

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were hurt following a crash that ended with a car going into a dealership in Wyoming Friday evening, according to the Wyoming Police Department. Officers responded to a report of a crash at South Division and 60th Street at 7:13 p.m.The police department said two vehicles crashed in the southbound lanes causing one of the vehicles to go off the road into BMW Motorcycles of Grand Rapids. Two people received minor injuries but did not go to the hospital.
