GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two men accused of conspiring to murder a third man in Grand Rapids in 2023 have been ordered to stand trial. After the fourth day of a preliminary hearing, a judge on Friday decided there was enough evidence to send Tyriq Bettison and Dominike Sterling’s case to trial, an attorney told News 8. The co-defendants are charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the death of Darryl Yarber, who was shot to death Nov. 6, 2023.

LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) — The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office says it has arrested one person and is looking for another suspect who said they were going to “shoot up” a graduation at a high school graduation in Pontiac. “We decided to go public with it because we’re looking for an individual and so far, we have not found him.
