Fayetteville City Council passed new parking regulations this week that will change how much space developers must dedicate to parking. The ordinance still requires residential developers to meet minimum parking standards but now ties the number of required spaces to the number of bedrooms in a project. Previously, parking minimums were based on the number of units, which often resulted in more spaces being required overall.
